For example, I would like to refuse others very much, but every time when others ask, I will still accept it out of embarrassment, can't bear to refuse, and is in the way of affection, which leads me to do a lot of things that are not within the scope of work. I don't know if you have found such a phenomenon. These old people who don't know how to refuse always help others in the workplace and always respond to their demands. Because they are afraid of not helping and refusing others, they will lose their goodwill and even destroy the relationship between the two parties. But in fact, in the workplace, no one will appreciate your kindness, they will only make progress. Once you have done this, you will basically do it in the future, and you will make more mistakes. Once you don't help one day, others will think you are bad, as if you owe someone else. In the end, it's hard to please.

If this happens all the time, it is better to learn to reject the unreasonable demands of others and establish our own principles. When you have a bottom line, you will establish your own principles and reject work that violates your own principles. Work that does not involve principles can be selectively accepted.

In the workplace, we advocate to maintain the edges and corners, but at the same time, we should also know how to hold the right balance. It is inappropriate to let your rough edges and corners hurt others and yourself even if you have suffered losses because of a certain character. At this time, we need to make some changes, but this change should not be to smooth edges and corners, but to be refined. Only after careful carving can the jade bloom. Therefore, in the face of difficulties, conflicts and contradictions, we can accept the polishing of reality. Moderate polishing will enable us to better grasp the rules of getting along with others, but it is not necessary to blindly polish our own edges and corners. We do not survive in the workplace to cater to others, and the workplace life is not entirely to give up personality to achieve success.
