Four small actions to eliminate negative psychological emotions at work

Engaging in a meaningful job is one of the best ways to build self-confidence. However, due to the sluggish economic environment and fierce competition, when young workers enter the workplace, their work deprives you of self-confidence because of their low efficiency, poor performance, or interpersonal problems. The American Journal of Psychology Today recommended four simple small actions to eliminate the negative impact of work in a timely manner.

  1. Write down the efforts that make you proud. Prepare a small card and write down at least 3 things that make you proud every day. This is not how big a case you have received today, but when you have made 100% efforts to prepare the briefing, even if the final proposal has not been passed, you should write it down to encourage yourself. If you really can't figure out what efforts you have made, maybe you can find a trusted colleague to help you.
  2. Seize the opportunity and temper your enthusiasm. Even if it's only 15 minutes a day, spend a little time on your favorite interests every day, such as having breakfast with your partner before work; After dinner, tidy the flowers and plants on the balcony; Or play Go with the computer for 15 minutes online. This will make it easier for you to regain your enthusiasm for your work.
  3. Prepare a "certificate" bulletin board. Find a wall in your home that you often pass by every day, hang a small bulletin board, and paste all the "awards" that can show your self-worth on it: for example, the cover of the proposal report designed hard; An email praised by the boss; Or the dried flowers sent by colleagues on your birthday. Once a day, you can absorb the positive energy it brings to you. Of course, remember to update it every month.

  4. Focus on how to solve the problem.Stop any negative and blaming thoughts and focus on how to solve the problem. Maybe putting a ban sign next to the phone or computer can remind yourself not to fall into negative thinking.
