Find your own "hole in the ground."

The accelerated pace of life, the bombardment of massive information in the information society, coupled with the sense of burnout in the face of occupation, the sense of fatigue in the face of life, people are feeling unprecedented pressure. How do you deal with stress? Employee's emotions and production order and efficiency are closely related, as a manager how to guide?

"You can do it, and then endure a little" "a little bad, it's okay" "today also want to be full of energy, cheers". Into the New Year, an online survey shows that the cell phone is used to store, transfer work documents "file transfer assistant", is a lot of people in the workplace as a private "tree hole", talk about their hearts, to their own release of pressure and encouragement.

More than half of the workplace people have negative emotions

A promotion, a difficult career exam, a crisis management ...... This is often encountered in the workplace challenges. And some people in the experience of such things, there will be a variety of symptoms: melancholy, irritability, panic, chest tightness, and even insomnia throughout the night, this is the "workplace anxiety".

The survey shows that 65% of the employed people are negative emotions prevail, this emotion is light for dissatisfaction with the status quo, deeply tired; heavy burden, suffering from serious physical and mental illness.

Different age groups have different anxiety in the workplace. 85% of the post-90s respondents said they have "overtime anxiety", 61% have "promotion anxiety", 57% have "consumption anxiety", and 47% have "consumption anxiety".  45% have "sleeping late anxiety", and they choose to have "hairline anxiety". The proportion of respondents choosing "hairline anxiety" and "health anxiety" is also above 30%.

Nearly 70% of the post-80s workforce believe that the existing salary does not match their own ability, and the first half of their career is over, and they feel that the title of "middle-aged greasy" is not far away from them; as many as half of the post-80s interviewees are worrying about the promotion issue in the workplace; 1/4 of the interviewees said that there was no salary increase in the past year, which is the reason of their worries; 21% of the interviewees said that there was no salary increase in the past year, which is the reason of their worries. The reason for their worries is that they have no salary increase in the past year; 21% of the respondents said that they have no savings, and 40% of them need to take out a loan to buy a house.

Everyone needs his or her own "tree hole"

The Internet term "tree hole" means a place where one can reveal one's heart, a place where one can tell one's secrets without worrying about them leaking out. For people in the workplace, the accumulation of worries will affect the health, and there are some things that can not be known to others. This time to find a "tree hole" to tell all the confusion, people will also become more relaxed.

Psychologists suggest that if you compare yourself with others, you will fall into the misunderstanding of taking your own shortcomings over the strengths of others. Put the eyes from other people to recover a collection, and their own comparison, compared to today's me is not more than yesterday's me have made progress? Than than the work this time than the last time to do a good job? Comparing with yourself is not only a good way to resolve anxiety, but also a good way to urge yourself to make progress.

     Emotions are productivity

A survey around absence management found that stress was ranked as the number one cause of employee absence. But absenteeism is only one consequence of stress, and it can lead to a reduction in employee willingness, loyalty and engagement, and stress is also an important cause of conflict at work.

However, few managers realize the magnitude of the problem and don't know what workplace stress really is, how it affects their employees, let alone how to deal with it.

Another challenge in reality is that not all workplace stress that affects employee performance comes from the office space. In many cases, stress arises from a complex relationship that mixes the workplace with the non-workplace. Debt and poor relationships, for example, can threaten a person's performance at work.

Ideological and political work in business is the science of defusing workplace anxiety, both for the employees themselves and for their managers.

The first step is to treat employees with enough respect, including honesty in behavior, management of emotions, and thoughtfulness and consideration in attitude toward employees. Set reasonable appraisal standards, give positive rather than negative feedback on employee performance, and show proper understanding of employees' life-work balance.

In addition, companies should maintain transparency of information, tell employees in a timely manner the status of business progress, and encourage employee participation. Grassroots political workers should pay special attention to face-to-face conversations with employees, which may not be so important in normal times, but in the special period of enterprise transformation, when individual feelings become extremely sensitive, managers should pay more attention to face-to-face conversations.
