On April 21, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice of the United Kingdom, Dominic Raab, announced his resignation. According to an inquiry report, he was accused of "bullying" staff on several occasions during his tenure as a minister in different departments, and the report found two of the allegations to be substantiated.

According to British media reports, Prime Minister David Sunnucks had already received the report, but was hesitant to sack Raab over it. Raab is an important political figure in the British Conservative Party, and is also regarded as one of Sunak's key political allies, who has held a number of important roles in the Cabinet since 2015, including the Foreign Secretary, the United Kingdom's "Brexit" Minister and other positions.
Rabb said in his resignation letter that he had previously promised to resign if the barrister Adam ▪ Tory-led investigation identified him as having workplace bullying behavior. In order to keep his promise he finally chose to resign, but he does not agree with the conclusions of the investigation report.
Raab believes that there is no clear definition of "workplace bullying" behavior standards, if such a harsh and vague definition of his characterization, will bring "dangerous precedent" to the future political arena, encouraging grass-roots employees to accuse managers more freely.
In his resignation letter, Raab emphasized: "I have not once shouted abuse at anyone, I have not tried to humiliate anyone, and it is unlikely that I have smashed things and other physical harm. If I have ever inadvertently offended any of my colleagues in the workplace or put anyone under unexpected pressure in my high standards and fast-paced work, I will ask for their forgiveness."
Rabu concluded with a shout out to Sunak: "You have proved that you are a good Prime Minister and you will have my wholehearted support when I return to the backbench of Parliament after leaving office." Rab also thanked the people who have supported him during his political career in the letter.
